MASSIMO SCATTOLIN & ANDREA VETTORETTI



After a number of meetings with Andres Segovia, Massimo Scattolin began his concert career as a soloist, since developing his chamber music and orchestral activities to include some of the best-known concertos for guitar and orchestra. Composers such as Andrea Morricone, Astor Piazzolla and Violet Archer have written concertos for him.
 
Massimo thus rose to the attention of European, Asian, North and South American and Australian audiences and has been described by critics as being one of the best guitarists of our times. He has worked with the main European television networks, as well as with great theatre actors such as Cucciolla, Pagliai and Gassman. He regularly takes part in international festivals and is the first Italian guitarist to have held master classes at the “Mozarteum” in Salzburg.
 
For the last few years Massimo Scattolin has been increasingly involved in composing works, first for solo guitar, and lately for symphony orchestra.

Andrea Vettoretti- A polished musician, expressed through an educated and emotional language that connect's classic with world experiments.
Unanimously considered by the critics as one of the most important guitarist in Europe, Andrea Vettoretti carries on an intense concert activity bringing him to be considered as a guitar ambassador in several countries around the world.
He studied at the prestigious “Ecole Normale de Music” of Paris under the guide of M° Alberto Ponce, where passes the “Diplome SupĂ©rieur de Execution” and the “Diplome SupĂ©rieur de Concertiste”. He has won twelve International Competitions and He has recorded nine Cds. In Paris he also attends several Master Classes held by worldwide famous Masters such as: Mstilav Rostropovitch, Alicia de Larrocha, Stephen Dogson, David Russel, Alberto Ponce, characterizing a full musical preparation. He is playing Savarez Alliance Cantiga strings on a  Enzo Guido guitar.



BLAIR HARRIS



 
Blair Harris is considered amongst the pre-eminent cellists in Australia. Blair holds a Bachelor of Music from the Queensland Conservatorium and is a Fellow of the Australian National Academy of Music.

 
As a soloist he has performed with both the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Orchestra Victoria on numerous occasions. He has also appeared as Principal of the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra, Auckland Philharmonia Guest Principal with Orchestra Victoria and Guest Associate Principal of the Tasmanian Symphony.
 
Blair’s true passion lies in the chamber music realm. From 2010-2017 Blair was a member of the Helpmann Award nominated ensemble Syzygy, currently artists in residence at the Melbourne Recital Centre. Blair has collaborated with many of Australia’s leading ensembles including the Australian String Quartet, Streeton Trio, Seraphim Trio, Inventi Ensemble and Ensemble Offspring. His numerous recordings are regularly broadcast on ABC Classic FM and 3MBS Fine Music.


LOTTE BETTS-DEAN & ANDREY LEBEDEV

Both these exciting artists are already much travelled, hailing from Australia but now settled in London. Together they have performed across the UK including the Buxton, Cheltenham, Norfolk and Llandeilo Fawr Festivals. For their performance in Buxton they were praised by the Guardian as "an unexpected highlight… an irrepressible sense of drama and extraordinary self-assurance".

Both artists share a passion for breaking boundaries across repertoire, which is both refreshing and inspirational. Andrey Lebedev is an Australian classical guitarist with an insatiable curiosity to explore new avenues of music making. He is the laureate of top international competitions including the 2017 ARD Competition and the 2017 Guitar Foundation of America.

Lotte is equally passionate about contemporary music, and is a member of London-based new music group ensemble x.y. She recently won the Peter Hulsen Orchestral Song Award in London, was a 2017 Semi Finalist in the prestigious Wigmore Hall Song Competition, and was recently named Associate Artist with London’s Southbank Sinfonia.



SERAPHIM TRIO



Over the last two decades, Helen Ayres, Anna Goldsworthy and Tim Nankervis have remained steadfastly committed to chamber music – from building the contemporary repertoire, to developing new audiences and teaching the next generation of performers.

Winners of the Piano Trio Prize and the Audience Choice Award at the Australian National Chamber Music Competition in 2001 (now the Asia-Pacific Chamber Music Competition), Seraphim Trio has performed at the Melbourne International Arts Festival, the Port Fairy Spring Music Festival, the Adelaide Festival of Arts, the Peninsular Summer Music Festival and in 2013, Opera Australia’s Ring Festival in Melbourne. Alongside its acclaimed subscription series Seraphim Trio is frequently broadcast on ABC Classic FM and on the MBS network, and maintains a robust commissioning program.



DUO LEONARDO

Elisabetta Ghebbioni, harp and Andrea Dainese, flute have performed together as Duo Leonardo for over 20 years.
