Plans are underway for another uplifting Murray River International Music Festival. Artistic director Sergio de Pieri with his assistant, nephew Domenico and motivated committee have been working to ensure the program is available to all. It features Australian and Italian virtuosi performing in stunning locations along the Murray River.
The festival runs from the 18th - 31st of January maintaining its two signature events: the opening night at Ampelon Gardens and the Midsummer Night's Picnic at the Woolshed. Both are very family friendly.
The 2016 program promises to be one of the most exciting and memorable of the festivals to date, featuring a range of genres from baroque to folk to jazz. It will be presented by some of the world's greatest artists, all here in Mildura and surrounds.
