This art gallery, studio space and artist in residence facility is a new initiative for the Mildura region and includes state of the art etching and lithography workshop areas, two gallery spaces, meeting rooms, ten studio spaces and two artist in residence apartments. To be opened on 7 March 2008 it will provide visitors to the region with a contemporary space to view some outstanding works by artists including Charles Blackman, John Olsen, Cherry Hood, Jorg Schmeisser and indigenous artists Minnie Pwerle, Kathleen Petyarre, Kudditji Kngwarreye, Bronwyn Bancroft and Dennis Nona along with the work of local artists. Open to the public from 8 March.
The galleries will be open to the general public from Saturday 8 March 2008 - Gallery opening hours Wednesday - Saturday 10am - 5pm, Sunday 11am - 4pm
